Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Installation - 2022 Toyota Tundra

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Timbren rear suspension enhancement for the rear axle on 2022 Toyota Tundra. Adding rear suspension enhancement to any truck is a great idea, especially if you plan on putting some payload in the bed or having trailers that you tow regularly. A lot of trucks today are designed with comfort in mind. They become daily drivers for a lot of people and that's totally fine, but when you start to tow, sometimes you're gonna notice that void for comfort when it starts to sag. And that's not necessarily that it's going to overwork your truck. But if you wanna supplement it and give it the best help that it can when it comes to supplementing your suspension, and just making your truck feel a little bit tougher while it tows, this is a great option to do that. more

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Rear Air Helper Springs Installation - 2022 Toyota Tundra- Video

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Rear Air Helper Springs Installation - 2022 Toyota Tundra

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5,000, air helper springs on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. Air helper springs are going to help to support the rear end of your vehicle when you're hauling something in the bed of your truck or from the hitch. With newer trucks, they tend to have softer coil springs for a nice ride quality. But what that leads to is that anytime you put any amount of weight on the back of the truck, it's going to cause a significant amount of squat compared to the older leaf style springs that we're on older vehicles. So when hauling those heavy loads, the air helper springs are gonna help to level out your load so that your truck is not squatting in the rear and you can get your headlights pointed back down on the road and a more sound contact with the front tires on the ground. more

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Installation - 2013 Toyota Tundra

Today on our 2013, Toyota Tundra, we'll be installing the Firestone Ride Rite Air Helper Springs, part number F2445. First, before we install our new air helper springs, we're going to go ahead and take a manufacturer's right height measurement. From the edge of the wheel well to the ground is 39 1/2 inches. Now we'll go ahead and add approximately 1600 pounds of weight to the bed of our pick up, which lowers our ride height to 36 inches. As we go through out slalom course, you notice the body roll from the amount of weight in the bed of the pick up and our steering is less responsive with our ride height and weight distribution being off. Next, we'll go over our bumps course, where you'll notice there's a minimal amount of clearance between the bump stop and the frame. Next, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process with the Firestone Ride Rite Air Helper Springs installed and aired up to approximately 60 psi. With the 1600 pounds of weight in the bed of the pickup and air installed into the air bags, it will bring our ride height back up to 39 and a half inches. more
